The All White Metal type is easily identified by having no brass
metal parts. (This key is missing the nut that holds the anvil
and anvil strap to the frame.) |

In this photo you can see that the eye screw on this key is
unusually small. |

Here I show an eye screw from an ARH type key for contrast.
The outer diameter of the larger eye is 3/8", while the smaller
is 5/16". |

I have found two all white metal J-38's in the boxes as shown here.
It is very unusual to find J-38's in boxes from these two companies.
These two keys have a regular size eye screw. |

Here is an All White key without the J-38 engraved at the front of the base.
This might be a rare variation, or it might be someone was very skillful in
removing the engraveing without leaving any traces. |
