The Key and Plug Assembly No. 9 has several unusual characteristics. The base and black
cover are made of thin aluminum, and the knob is more like the
European style "doorknob" than the traditional U.S. style button.
The front of the lever is covered with rubber insulation.

Notice that the trunnion lock nuts have been moved INSIDE the frame
to reduce the side-to-side clearance of the J-37.

Here you can see the identification stamped into the front of
the base.
